Our Administrator and Newsletter Editor, Laura Gilkey, will be stepping down at the end of August. She offers thanks for the years of community, acceptance, and healing she has had with you all.
As such, we are looking for a new Administrator; this is a paid position. If you think you might have an interest (or could suggest someone) please contact a board member.
We are also planning an Open House to celebrate our fire recovery and remodeling. To get involved in planning the event, contact Rich Burdge.
An independent Insight Meditation group taught by Joe McCormack meets at our building Thursday nights at 7 pm. For more information, contact Bob Antweiler.
This Friday, August 23rd is our monthly Salvation Army meal. Please contact Bob Antweiler if you can help provide food for those in need.
We are planning an outdoor work day this Saturday, August 24th, probably for 2 to 3 hours in the morning. We will be clearing away leaves and debris, weeding, and hopefully re-staining the deck. If you can help or need more information, contact Lisa Sanning.
This Sunday, August 25th, the UUFJC Board meets at our building immediately after services. All are welcome to attend our board meetings. For this month’s agenda and more information, contact our president, Logan White.
Our building is reserved by a community group Wednesdays and Saturdays starting at 6 pm. If you have access to our building, please allow privacy at these times.
