Message: "Do Unitarian Universalists Authentically Celebrate Christmas?" Rev. Mike Adamek
One story about Christmas is how the birth of Jesus Christ celebrates the incarnation of God into human form so Christians everywhere can anticipate their victory over sin and death on Easter Sunday. This is advertised as the reason for the season. Most UUs celebrate Christmas and most UUs do not include this theology in their celebration. The story of Christmas for UUs is that we do not celebrate dogma when we celebrate Christmas. How do we authentically celebrate Christmas if we no longer celebrate Christian theology?
