In a world filled with violence and chaos, we each need to choose our world view, our guiding principles and values by which we live. We especially have to choose between Fear and Hope. Fear can be useful, but can leave us isolated. Hope gives us power, but we need a vision to grow it. Hope is not something we're given; we need to cultivate it. This was part 1 on this topic.

Also on Thursday, Dr. Nadia Navarrete-Tindall, native plants extension specialist at Lincoln University will present "Dining Wild with Native Edible Plants; at 7:00 p.m. at the Missouri River Regional Library.
