Next Sunday, September 4th:
Adult Forum - 9:15 am
Service and Religious Education - 10:30 am
Message: "A Chosen Faith Evolves," Rev. Mike Adamek
Covenants in liberal congregations change over time as we state and restate our group identities. Our identity as a Unitarian Universalist congregation rests both on the seven principles and six sources of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations while at the same time proclaiming that nothing in the Bond of Union infringes on the absolute freedom of individual belief. It is not an oxymoron to include absolute freedom of belief with covenantal bonds of union, but it does make us peculiar to other congregations from the free church tradition. Covenant is the heart and soul of Unitarian Universalism.

Discussion Title: "Disrupted: My Misadventure in the Start-up Bubble" by Dan Lyons, who spent several years working at a trendy tech start-up.
