The morning began with a beautiful and inspiring visit from the Peace Runners. You can follow their progress at peacerun.org.
Sunday was also our annual business meeting. Thank you to everyone who came for your dedication and patience!
This year, we'd like to stretch ourselves and invest in our future in the areas of child care, leadership training, worship resources from the Soul Matters Sharing Circle, and a larger budget for Sunday speakers. These items go beyond our core budget, so we're asking for additional donations in these areas. Talk to our treasurer, Bob Antweiler.
The UUA offers these words:
If you are proud of this church, become its advocate.
If you are concerned for its future, share its message.
If its values resonate deep within you, give it a measure of your devotion.
This church cannot survive without your faith, your confidence, your enthusiasm.
Its destiny, the larger hope, rests in your hands.
