This morning, UUFJC bid a fond farewell to Rev. Mike Adamek, who visited us in person to deliver one last Sunday message, about our UU faith calling to reconcile unity and diversity.
After the service, we had a lovely meal, part potluck and part catered, and on behalf of the Fellowship, we presented Rev. Mike with a memory book compiled by Katharine Connor, and a $100 gift card for Beacon Press. We are all tremendously appreciative and grateful for Rev. Mike's 23 years of dedication, friendship, and thought-provoking messages that he has shared with us. (Potluck report by Rich Burdge.)

It’s that time of year again: time for us to plan our budget for the upcoming fiscal year. An independent Insight Meditation group taught by Joe McCormack meets at our building Thursday nights at 7 pm. For more information, contact Bob Antweiler.
Next Sunday, April 9th, Emma Regnier leads a monthly independent Intergenerational Book Study group at our building at 1 pm. This month's selection: "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury. (Rescheduled from last month, when the group was unable to meet.) Contact Emma Regnier or Betty Cooper.
Our building is reserved by community groups Wednesdays and Saturdays starting at 6 pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 5:30 pm. If you have access to our building, please allow privacy at these times.

In partnership with the Jefferson City Parks & Recreation Foundation, the United Way of Central Missouri is kicking off our tenth annual Serve Jeff City event! The community-wide volunteer day of beautification to Jefferson City will take place Saturday, April 22, 2023 beginning at 8 AM at McClung Park. The event will start with a pancake breakfast served by Missouri Lt. Governor Mike Kehoe, followed by deployment to the service areas from 9 AM – 12 PM.
