Note that there is a box that needs to be checked for you to give us permission to share your submission on Sunday. It helps to have submissions in by Friday at noon, but every reasonable effort will be made to include submissions made after that date and those submitted via paper and pen on Sunday morning until 10:20 A.M.

UUFJC has a new lecture series coming soon! Our inaugural speaker will be David Wilson, Associate Principal of Jefferson City High School and News Tribune columnist. He will speak at UUFJC on Monday, September 14th at 7 pm. Help with setup is appreciated. Contact Carol Bontempo or Frank Rycyk.
Also coming soon is Project Homeless Connect, a one-day event in October aimed at connecting homeless people with needed resources and services. Volunteers are needed, as are donations including clothing and outerwear (new or gently used) as well as personal care items. Contact Patt Behler for more information.
Community Events this week:
This week, some of our ally congregations in Faith Voices are holding a "Let Justice Roll" Summer Revival hosted by Quinn Chapel AME Church, Tuesday, September 1st and Wednesday, September 2nd. Each day there will be a Bible Study at 6:15 pm and Worship at 7 pm. The Bible Study will be led by Rev. W. T. Edmonson, Rev. Dr. John Bennett will preach Tuesday night, and Reverends Jeannie Martin Dudenhoeffer and Cassandra Gould will preach Wednesday night. Contact Katherine Connor for more information.
