This morning, the children in our Religious Education class shared the wonder of the holiday season. They alongside their families delivered a Christmas program filled with music, poetry and a warm-hearted story for the holiday.
The songs and stories and rituals of Christmas inspire a sense of warmth and wonder for many of us, but not everyone finds wonder in the same places. If you are not feeling the "holiday spirit," there's no need to fret over it. Wonders of all kinds surround us; better than stressing over wonder you don't feel is to find and embrace the wonder that speaks to you.

Due to the Christmas Holiday, we will not have a regular service this Sunday, but our building will be open for those who would like an informal gathering with our members and friends.
Children's Religious Education - 10:30 am
For the status of this week's RE class, contact Samantha Porter. This week's lesson: "The Wonder of Christmas."
Lunch after Service: If you would like to join other members and friends for lunch, look for a whiteboard in our entry hallway near the water fountain to see the weekly lunch location. Please add a tally to the whiteboard if you plan to attend.
Masks are currently optional for those attending UUFJC events in person.
If you have a joy or concern that you would like to have read during a service or shared in our weekly email, please submit it by noon on the Friday before through our website: http://uufjc.org/joys--concerns.html
We will also have paper forms available Sunday morning for submissions.

An independent Insight Meditation group taught by Joe McCormack meets at our building Thursday nights at 7 pm. For more information, contact Bob Antweiler.
This Friday, December 23rd would normally be our monthly Salvation Army meal, but it is likely to be canceled this month due to the Christmas holiday. Contact Bob Antweiler to check on this month’s meal or get involved with providing food for those in need in the months to come.
Our building is reserved by community groups Wednesdays and Saturdays starting at 6 pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 5:30 pm. If you have access to our building, please allow privacy at these times.
