Question to contemplate: Do you believe you are a blessing?
Next Sunday, November 13th:
Adult Forum - 9:15 am
"Blessings and Challenges," Laura Gilkey
We will view and discuss an episode of the Japanese animated series "Natsume's Book of Friends" (in Japanese with English subtitles). As the story demonstrates, sometimes blessings are challenging to accept, and sometimes challenges are blessings to accept. (You can view the episode online, or read a transcription with explanatory notes.)
Service and Religious Education - 10:30 am
Message: "Evocation: the language of Blessing," Rev. Nancy TannerThies
If you have a joy or concern that you would like to have read during the Service, please submit it by noon on Friday through our website: http://uufjc.org/joys--concerns.html
