RE needs volunteer teachers and aides for September and October! Contact Kim Connor.
We also need volunteers to staff our table at the Jefferson City Fall Multicultural Festival, coming up Saturday, October 3rd. Contact Bob Antweiler if you can help.
Volunteers and donations are also needed for Project Homeless Connect. We have a box at the Fellowship for donations, which are due September 26th. The event itself takes place October 13th. For more information, contact Patt Behler.

Coming up Monday, September 14th is the first installment of the new UUFJC Lecture Series! Our first guest is associate principal at JCHS and News Tribune columnist David Wilson, Ed.D. His topic: "A voice of calm and reason in tumultuous times." He will touch on education, dealing with difficulty, and personal growth. Contact Carol Bontempo or Frank Rycyk for more information.

This Thursday, September 10th at 7 pm in their Art Gallery, MRRL presents: "What's Your Plan?: A Practical Conversation about Aging." Reginald Turnbull, elder law attorney; Joetta Coen, director of programs and services, Greater Missouri Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association; and Maria Hines, a group facilitator, will provide their expertise about what to cover in your long-term plan. The conversation will include financial and legal information, Alzheimer’s Association research and services, plus the importance of caregiver and family support groups. Contact Madeline Matson.
