Monday, April 3rd there is a program on Interfaith Response to the Refugee Crisis at 6:30 pm at Presbyterian Church. The Social Justice Ministry Team of First Presbyterian Church, working with the Clergy Caucus of Faith Voices for Jefferson City and the Capital Area Interfaith Alliance, is seeking to find ways to sponsor and support refugees and immigrants in the Jefferson City Area through this special presentation. Faith Voices for Jefferson City is holding their annual anniversary celebration dinner and silent auction this Friday, April 7th at 6:30 pm. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Benjamin Akande, President of Westminster College. UUFJC will have a table for 8, and Katherine needs to know who wants to attend. If we get over 8 people, that’s all right; we can chip in to cover the additional cost. Contact Katherine Connor.
