30 Days of Love began January 16th. Various friends and members of the Fellowship will share their reflections on love, justice, and peace during that time. This service focuses on the question: What does it look like to stand on the side of love?

The Membership Committee is looking for two more volunteers who can give members and friends rides to and from services once a month. Scheduling is very flexible. Contact Bob Antweiler if you can help.
The American Association of University Women meets this Thursday, January 21st at 7 pm. Contact Charlotte Parsons for details.
This Friday, January 22nd is our monthly Salvation Army work day. Please contact Bob Antweiler if you can help prepare or serve food for those in need. Serving begins at 5 pm; please arrive by 4:30 to help prepare.
A This I Believe writing workshop is coming Sunday, January 31st from 1:30 to 4 pm. Please RSVP to Alexis Engelbrecht as soon as possible if you are interested in attending.
Community Events this week:
This Tuesday, January 19th at 7 pm in the Art Gallery, Missouri River Regional Library presents an Author Talk on "Immigrant Stories." Elizabeth Terry, Patrick McCarthy, and John Wright, authors of Ethnic St. Louis, will discuss the significant impact of St. Louis’ immigrant communities both past and present. These groups have helped make St. Louis into a vibrant and diverse city. Several recent immigrants from the mid-Missouri area will also tell their stories of journey and settlement into U.S. society. Thursday, January 21st at 7 pm, Columbia Area NOW meets at the Hy-Vee Restaurant at Broadway and Fairview in Columbia. Non-members and new members welcome. Contact Sue Gibson.
