And coming a week from tomorrow, on Monday, February 11th is the monthly UUFJC Lecture Series. This month: "Missouri Missing" with Marianne Asher-Chapman, Executive Director and co-founder of Missouri Missing, a 501(c)(3) corporation. This Saturday, February 9th, join Missouri River Regional Library to "Learn Bridge in a Day," from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm in their Art Gallery. Playing bridge is mental exercise. If you’re curious about bridge, you can learn the basics in this interactive class that has both instruction and coached play. You’ll learn point counting, opening, responding, scoring, and play of the hand. Registration is limited to 40. A $15 fee includes a 40-page manual and a boxed lunch. Michael Hughes, an accredited bridge teacher, will lead the class with assistance from Tony Wening.
