This morning, our own Betty Cooper delivered a message, sharing the story of her faith journey. The faith experiences of our past teach us and shape us; they may have brought us into vital relationships, they may have inspired our passions, and they also may have taught us less healthy patterns that we need to reflect on and become aware of in order to grow and change. Betty's own story highlighted the human need for warmth and connection, the importance of welcoming children and youth, and the importance of openness to learning and change. As Betty said, sharing our experiences leads us into deeper relationship with each other. She told her story today in hopes that others will tell their stories in turn.
