After the service, we held our Annual Business Meeting. Key points raised included:
- Our building is now open for in-person attendance; masks are optional for those who are fully vaccinated, required for those who are not.
- We have budgeted extra money to upgrade our audio-visual technology, and we hope to offer hybrid in-person/online services soon and continue them indefinitely.
- We hope to resume in-person Religious Education, perhaps this fall.
- We have also budgeted more for outreach to support our Salvation Army Meals and Community Pantry and generally make a difference for the community beyond our walls.
- Our nominating committee members for this year are Bob Boldt, Betty Cooper, and Frank Rycyk. If you are interested in serving UUFJC in a leadership role, contact them.
Watch for more news from the annual meeting in our June Newsletter, coming next Sunday.
Also please note: UUFJC's annual Rummage Sale will be returning in three weeks, on Saturday, June 12th! Please be on the lookout for gently-used items you can donate to support our Fellowship. Storage space at our building is now available; contact Roberta Dunkel at [email protected]. Also, if you have items stored at the Fellowship that are not intended for sale, please take them home or label them clearly!
