This Sunday, Rev. Nancy TannerThies continued our month of focus on Memory with a message entitled "Oh Yes, I Remember it Well". Nancy talked about the way we choose to remember events and compared that to myths, which may not always be factual, but often contain important truths.

"Papa Was a Rolling Stone," Frank Rycyk
Memory of an absentee father, memory of language usage in the '50s and memory of music-production interactions are all brought together in Marc Myers' "Anatomy of a Song". There might be a musical introduction to the forum.
Service and Religious Education - 10:30 am
Message: "A Harvest of Grace", Rev. Daniel Gregoire (video). We will also celebrate our Bread Communion. Everyone is invited to bring a bread to share that has special meaning to you, or is just a favorite. The Fellowship will provide topics and cider.

UUFJC News and Events this week:
We need someone to step forward and coordinate our Salvation Army meals. The coordinator will have a lot of help learning the ropes and providing the food. If we don't have a coordinator by the end of this year, we will probably have to give up this longtime community service of our Fellowship. If you are willing to step forward, please contact Roberta Dunkel. (Note, we are not serving at the Salvation Army in November or December due to the holidays.)
The Membership Committee is looking for people willing to give rides to members and friends who can't drive to church on Sundays. We currently have two people needing rides. If you can help, please contact Bob Antweiler.
THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED -- Next Sunday, November 25th, our Soul Matters Small Group meets from 2-4 pm. To get involved with the group and engage in more personal sharing regarding our monthly themes, contact Jim Davis.
