Monday, September 12th at 7 pm at the Fellowship is our monthly Lecture Series. This month, Dick Dalton will speak on “Mastering your Memes and turning the tables on Mental Slavery.” Contact Carol Bontempo or Frank Rycyk for more information.
This Thursday, September 15th, the American Association of University Women comes back from summer break. They will have a dinner social at 6 pm at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club before they resume meeting at the Fellowship next month. Contact Charlotte Parsons.
Next Sunday, September 18th, the Worship Service Committee meets from 1:30 to 4 pm. Contact Alexis.
Later next Sunday afternoon at 4 pm is the monthly Laughter Yoga session. Free and open to all. Contact Jan Harcourt.
And coming Saturday, October 1st is the Jefferson City Multicultural Festival. UUFJC will have a booth at the festival, and we need volunteers for setup, takedown, and staffing the booth. Donations of baked goods and other items to sell at the booth are also appreciated. Contact Bob Antweiler or look for a sign-up sheet starting next Sunday.

Monday, September 12th at 7 pm in their Art Gallery, Missouri River Regional Library hosts a presentation on "Jobs with Justice." Justin Stein and Michelle Trupiano will describe the work of Missouri Jobs with Justice, a coalition of more than 100 community, labor, student and faith-based groups committed to working for economic justice. Tuesday, September 13th, Citizens for Peace meet at MRRL in the Storyhour Room. Contact Betty Cooper.
Thursday, September 15th, Columbia Area NOW (National Organization for Women) meets at the Hy-Vee Restaurant at Broadway and Fairview in Columbia. Non-members and new members welcome. Contact Sue Gibson.
