UUFJC News and Events this week:
Our Building Committee is requesting donations to repair our retaining walls. We are currently working on the wall at the side of our building, but the retaining walls in front and back are also showing their age and we can't repair them now without additional funds. Any help is appreciated!
RE urgently needs volunteer teachers and aides for September and October! Contact Kim Connor.
And we need an Adult Forum leader for October 11th. Contact Laura Gilkey.
The Membership Committee needs one more person willing to provide rides for our members and friends one Sunday a month. Please contact Bob Antweiler if you can help.
We also need volunteers to staff our booth at the Jefferson City Fall Multicultural Festival, coming up Saturday, October 3rd. See our sign-up sheet at the Fellowship or contact Bob Antweiler. We especially need people who can be there at 8:30 am to help set up, and people who can donate baked items for sale.
Volunteers and donations are also needed for Project Homeless Connect. We have a box at the Fellowship for donations, which are due this coming Saturday, September 26th. The event itself takes place downtown October 13th; volunteers are needed for that date and for preparation on other dates. For more information, contact Patt Behler.
