UUFJC News and Events this week:
This Saturday, June 18th from 7 am to 1 pm is our annual Rummage Sale. Throughout this week, you are welcome to bring donations; people will be at the Fellowship working to prepare. For more information about when donations are accepted or how to volunteer, contact Lisa Sanning or Bob Antweiler. Bob can also help if you have large items to donate and need help transporting them. Due to the sale preparations, other regular events are canceled this week and will resume next Tuesday.
The UUFJC board is requesting special donations to invest in our Fellowship's growth this year with child care, leadership development, and other initiatives. For more information or to donate please contact our Treasurer, Bob Antweiler.
Monday, June 13th is the monthly UUFJC Lecture Series. This month we will meet at an alternate location, in the Sheriff’s Classroom on High Street across from the Library, and Judge Jon Beetem will speak on "Criminal Sentencing." Contact Frank Rycyk or Carol Bontempo.
The UUFJC Board meets this Wednesday, June 15th at 1 pm here at the Fellowship. All are welcome to attend. Contact Katherine Connor.
Next Sunday, June 19th, the Worship Service Committee meets at the Fellowship at 2 pm. Open to anyone who would like to get involved in planning our Sunday services. Contact Laura Gilkey.

This Tuesday, June 14th at 4 pm, Citizens for Peace meet at Missouri River Regional Library, upstairs in the Storyhour room. Contact Betty Cooper.
This Wednesday, June 15th from 11 am to 6:30 pm at St. Joseph Cathedral Undercroft, it's St. Mary's Hospital's 59th Annual Ice Cream Social. Covers lunch and dinner for dine-in or carry-out. St. Mary's staff and volunteers will be dishing up generous servings of homemade cake topped with Central Dairy ice cream. Grilled bratwursts, chicken breasts, hamburgers, hot dogs, and tossed salads will be served a la carte, along with side dishes and drinks. Proceeds benefit patient care services at St. Mary's Hospital. Contact the St. Mary's Auxiliary office at 681-3744.
This Thursday, June 16th at 7 pm, Columbia Area NOW meets at the Hy-Vee Restaurant at Broadway and Fairview in Columbia. Contact Sue Gibson.
