Today, Rev. Mike brought us a message about Jeremiah, who is remembered as a major Hebrew prophet despite being unpopular in his own day. He told the people of Judea just what they didn't want to hear --- about how they failed the most vulnerable among them, about whether their political strategies were workable. Although he told them what they didn't want to hear, time proved him right, and he gained a place in the canon of scripture. We still hear "jeremiads" today telling us what we don't want to hear; which of them might eventually find their place in the "canon" of our own times?
We also had a special joy today as Alexis Engelbrecht-Villafane signed our membership book! We've been very fortunate to have Alexis and her family join our Fellowship community, and everyone applauded to welcome them officially as members!

In this session, participants will learn how to make a variety of fermented items as well as enjoy some samples. Contact Madeline Matson.
